Meet Rebecca Hammel

Rebecca can’t wait to greet you with a BIG smile when you visit our practice!  She is responsible for coordinating your care from start to finish.  She will help you maintain your hearing aids so you can hear all the things life has to offer like, nature, music, television shows and family members. When you come to our office, she will be here to answer your questions. If she does not know the answer, she will find out for you, so you go away totally satisfied with our practice.  If a Provider appointment is needed, she will help coordinate that for you as well.

She has worked in multiple areas of healthcare starting in 2012 when she graduated with a degree in Respiratory Therapy.  She has since transitioned into the clerical side of healthcare with the goal of case management.  She has worked in a fast-paced emergency room and a large multi-physician clinic learning about insurance and quality patient care.

Rebecca chose Desert Hearing Care because her sister needed hearing aids and has always been interested in how they work.  This is where her love for health care started.  She wants to know how the whole body works.  She loves teaching people about better health habits and how small life changes can improve someone’s overall health.

On her own time, she is with family. She has three children that keep her busy.  She enjoys going swimming and traveling to all the beautiful places in Arizona.  Her hobby also includes taking care of plants.  That is where her mind relaxes and rejuvenates.  Desert plants are her favorites because they are drought tolerant.
